Be prepared for sunshine and rain. Could be the black and white outlook. I like to look at things in a multi dimensional way… some days are sunshine bright and beautiful and you can clearly appreciate what the world has to offer. Some days have clouds or fog where you may feel in a funk of its “just” okay nothing but grey. Other days can be dark and filled with rain. But these days surely will pass – clouds have silver linings and when the sun shines through the rain it makes rainbows.

There are so many ways that the world around us tries to echo that things will change and / or get better. 

In my illustration Blessing Over the Rainbow (designed originally for a cancer support trust) I try to use this thinking: Butterflies for new life and change; A rainbow for a wish; Yellow for the sunshine, vibrant and positive. So I say be prepared for sunshine and rain, but try to see the rainbows.
