This week I got a nice big batch of cards back from print along with the envelopes and cellophane.... think I’m gonna be very busy packaging these little beauties ready for sale. There are 30 designs 750 cards in total... hmmm.
The selling is scary and when the fear, fun, rejection, frustration mix comes in. I’m totally just bouldering though any fear I feel – I never done any of this before, Last year I had a fear of showing my work and still have trouble with that sometimes, like all artists. But everything I’m doing now is a personal challenge and it feels exhilarating, exciting and bigger than me. I mean if a few shops say that my cards are not for them it may knock my pride but it will not kill me.
My aim is to fulfill my true potential, which will be success to me.The cards will be sold on a few stalls I’m doing this summer – Notting Hill’s Portobello Art & Design Market, Merton Abbey Mills, Brick Lane, Camden Arts and Craft Market Hall – all this and full time work :o)
